Terms of service
Overview
Last updated: 7 August 2026
1. About us
These Terms of Service explain the terms on which TRENDY-NOW LTD supplies products through this website.
The terms “TRENDY-NOW”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to:
TRENDY-NOW LTD
Company number: 17384701
Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
Email: info@trendy-now.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7376 022109
TRENDY-NOW LTD is the seller responsible for all orders placed through this website.
Our online store is hosted using Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to operate the website, but your purchase contract is directly between you and TRENDY-NOW LTD.
2. These Terms
These Terms apply when you:
- Browse or use our website;
- Create or use a customer account;
- Place an order with us;
- Purchase or use a product supplied by us; or
- Contact us in connection with our products or services.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.
Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy also apply to your use of the website and any purchase you make. Together, these documents form the terms of your agreement with us.
Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you should not use the website or place an order.
3. Eligibility to purchase
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order.
If you permit a minor to use the website through a device, account or payment method controlled by you, you are responsible for supervising their use of the website.
Our store is intended primarily for consumers purchasing products for personal or household use.
A “consumer” means an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession.
If you wish to purchase products for commercial resale or business use, please contact us before placing an order. Certain consumer rights described in these Terms may not apply to business purchases.
4. Product information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product titles, descriptions, specifications, prices, availability and images are accurate and kept up to date.
Product images are provided to help you understand the appearance of the product. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings, lighting and photography.
Product packaging may occasionally differ from the packaging displayed on the website where the manufacturer or supplier has updated it. Any replacement packaging will not materially affect the product itself.
Measurements, weights and capacities may be approximate where this is clearly stated on the relevant product page.
Before placing an order, you should review the complete product description, specifications, compatibility information and package contents shown on the product page.
We will not make a material substitution without your agreement.
Changes made to a product description or price will only affect orders placed after the change is published. They will not retrospectively change an order that we have already accepted.
5. Product availability
All products are subject to availability.
Placing a product in your shopping basket does not reserve it.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and offer one of the following:
- A full refund for the unavailable product;
- A reasonable alternative, but only with your agreement; or
- The option to wait for the product to become available, where appropriate.
We will never substitute a materially different product without obtaining your consent.
6. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket on these Terms.
After receiving your order, we will normally send you an order acknowledgement email. This email confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A binding contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation or otherwise confirm that your order has been accepted.
If an order contains several products that are dispatched separately, a separate contract may be formed for each product when that product is dispatched.
Please review your order carefully before completing checkout. You are responsible for ensuring that the products, quantities, delivery address, contact details and other information you provide are correct.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to correct or cancel an order. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after it has entered processing or has been dispatched.
7. When we may refuse or cancel an order
We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- A product is unavailable;
- We cannot obtain authorisation for payment;
- The information you supplied is incomplete or cannot be verified;
- We reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment or unlawful activity;
- There is an obvious pricing or product information error;
- Delivery to the supplied address is unavailable;
- The order breaches a purchase restriction displayed on the website;
- The order appears to be intended for unauthorised resale; or
- Accepting the order would breach a legal or regulatory requirement.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method without undue delay.
8. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling unless expressly stated otherwise.
Displayed prices include any taxes that we are legally required to charge. You will not be charged an undisclosed mandatory fee.
Standard UK delivery is currently free. If we offer an optional paid or upgraded delivery service, its cost will be clearly shown before you complete checkout.
The total amount payable will be displayed at checkout before you submit your order.
We may change our prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments may be processed by Shopify Payments or another authorised third-party payment provider.
You confirm that:
- The payment information you provide is accurate;
- You are authorised to use the selected payment method; and
- Sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the purchase.
We may conduct reasonable checks to prevent fraud and unauthorised transactions.
9. Pricing errors
We take reasonable care to ensure that product prices are correct.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you to ask whether you wish to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the order.
If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may cancel the order even after sending an order acknowledgement. If payment has already been taken, we will provide a full refund.
We will not increase the price of an accepted order unless you expressly agree to the change.
10. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions, including eligibility requirements, expiry dates, minimum order values and product exclusions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- Only one discount code may be used per order;
- A discount cannot be applied retrospectively;
- Promotions are available while stocks last; and
- We may withdraw or correct a promotion where it was published in error.
Withdrawing a promotion will not affect an order that we have already accepted under that promotion.
11. Delivery
We currently deliver to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom, as explained in our Shipping Policy.
Orders are normally processed within 0–2 working days.
Our estimated total delivery timeframe is normally 2–6 working days, unless a different timeframe is clearly displayed on the relevant product page or agreed with you.
Working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or UK bank holidays.
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith. Occasionally, delivery may be affected by events outside our reasonable control. If a material delay occurs, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver goods within 30 days after the contract is formed.
Delivery is completed when the product is physically delivered to:
- The address supplied in your order;
- A person identified by you to receive it; or
- A safe place or collection point expressly selected or authorised by you.
Responsibility for the product passes to you when you or a person nominated by you takes physical possession of it.
Ownership of the product passes to you once we have received payment in full.
12. Incorrect addresses and failed delivery
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Contact us immediately if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after dispatch.
If an order is returned to us because the supplied address was incomplete or incorrect, or because delivery could not be completed after reasonable attempts, we will contact you to discuss redelivery or a refund.
We may deduct reasonable and evidenced redelivery or return costs where the delivery failure was caused by incorrect information provided by you. We will not make such a deduction where the failure was caused by us or the carrier.
13. Cancellation before dispatch
You may ask us to cancel your order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at info@trendy-now.co.uk.
We will make reasonable efforts to cancel it. However, cancellation before dispatch cannot be guaranteed once processing has started.
If we successfully cancel the order, we will refund the amount paid to the original payment method.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may use your cancellation and return rights described below and in our Refund Policy.
14. Your right to cancel an online purchase
For most products purchased online, consumers have a legal right to cancel without giving a reason.
The statutory cancellation period begins when the contract is formed and normally ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
To exercise this right, you must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period expires. You may contact us by email, telephone or through our Contact Us page.
You then normally have a further 14 days to return the product after notifying us of your cancellation.
Your statutory cancellation right may not apply to certain categories of goods where the law provides an exception, including:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been unsealed after delivery; and
- Sealed audio, video or computer software products if they have been unsealed after delivery.
These exceptions do not remove your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
15. Our 30-day returns policy
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary return period of 30 days from the date of delivery, subject to our Refund Policy.
To request a return:
- Contact us at info@trendy-now.co.uk within 30 days of delivery;
- Provide your order number and the reason for the return;
- Wait for our return instructions and the correct return address; and
- Package and return the product safely in accordance with those instructions.
Please do not send a return to our registered office unless we have specifically instructed you to do so. The authorised returns address may be different from our registered office.
For returns requested after the statutory 14-day cancellation period but within our voluntary 30-day return period, the product must generally be:
- Unused;
- In its original condition;
- Complete with all supplied accessories, parts and manuals; and
- Returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible.
The voluntary return policy does not restrict your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.
16. Return costs and condition
Where you return a non-faulty product because you have changed your mind, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning it unless our Refund Policy or return instructions state otherwise.
We are responsible for reasonable return costs where the product is:
- Faulty;
- Damaged when delivered;
- Incorrect;
- Not as described; or
- Otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
During the statutory cancellation period, you may inspect a product in the same way you reasonably could in a physical shop.
We may make a lawful deduction from a refund if the product’s value has been reduced because it was handled beyond what was necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
No restocking fee will be charged for a product that is faulty, damaged on delivery, incorrect or not as described.
17. Refunds
Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method unless we expressly agree otherwise.
For a statutory change-of-mind cancellation, we will refund:
- The price paid for the returned product; and
- The cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us, if you paid a delivery charge.
Any additional amount paid for an upgraded or express delivery service is not required to be refunded beyond the cost of standard delivery.
We may wait until we receive the returned product or acceptable evidence that it has been sent back, whichever happens first.
We will issue the refund without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after receiving the returned product or acceptable evidence of return.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
Further information is provided in our Refund Policy.
18. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed products
Products supplied by us must be:
- Of satisfactory quality;
- Fit for any purpose made known to us;
- As described;
- Safe and compliant with applicable requirements; and
- Supplied with reasonable care.
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if a product arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or not as described.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- A clear description of the issue; and
- Photographs or video where reasonably helpful to assess the problem.
Requesting photographs or information does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to:
- Reject the product and receive a refund;
- A repair;
- A replacement;
- A price reduction; or
- A final right to reject.
Consumers normally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days, subject to the applicable legal conditions.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer legislation.
19. Customer accounts
You may be able to create a customer account, although an account may not be required to place an order.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login details confidential;
- Providing accurate and current information;
- Preventing unauthorised use of your account; and
- Informing us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.
Closing an account will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless there is a lawful reason to cancel that order.
20. Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, another account or a connected system;
- Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
- Interfere with the website’s security or normal operation;
- Use false information or impersonate another person;
- Infringe our rights or the rights of another person;
- Submit unlawful, threatening, defamatory, abusive or misleading content;
- Use the website to send spam or unsolicited advertising; or
- Copy, extract or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website without permission.
We may take reasonable steps to protect the website, customers and our business from misuse.
21. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including our text, layout, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, icons, software and original product content, is owned by or licensed to TRENDY-NOW LTD and is protected by applicable UK and international intellectual property laws.
You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, sell or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party names, trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not imply an affiliation or endorsement unless expressly stated.
22. Reviews and customer content
Where the website allows you to submit a review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:
- It reflects your genuine experience;
- It is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- You own it or have permission to submit it;
- It does not infringe another person’s rights;
- It is not unlawful, abusive, defamatory or misleading; and
- You disclose any incentive or compensation connected with the review.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and format the content for operating and promoting our store.
We may remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, irrelevant, abusive, contains personal information or breaches these Terms.
We will not edit a review in a way that materially changes the customer’s intended meaning.
23. Third-party services and links
Our website may use services supplied by third parties, including Shopify, payment processors, delivery providers, analytics providers and communication platforms.
Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy information.
Our website may contain links to independent third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, security or availability.
A third-party link does not necessarily mean that we recommend or endorse the third party.
Nothing in this section affects our responsibility for fulfilling an order placed directly with TRENDY-NOW LTD.
24. Privacy and cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
- What personal information we collect;
- Why we collect and use it;
- Our lawful bases for processing;
- Who we share it with;
- How long we retain it;
- International data transfers, where applicable;
- Your data protection rights; and
- How to contact us or make a complaint.
Our Cookie Policy or cookie notice explains how cookies and similar technologies are used.
By using the website, you acknowledge that you have been given access to this information. Where consent is legally required, we will request it separately.
25. Website availability and errors
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, technical improvements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section allows us to avoid our obligations regarding an order that we have accepted.
If we discover an error affecting your order, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and contact you where necessary.
26. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of:
- Our breach of these Terms; or
- Our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen or if both you and we knew it might happen when the contract was formed.
We supply products for personal and household use. If you use a product for commercial, business or resale purposes without our written agreement, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, contracts, goodwill or business interruption, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded;
- Breach of your statutory consumer rights; or
- Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
27. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disaster, carrier disruption, industrial action, war, civil emergency, widespread network failure or government action.
If such an event materially affects your order, we will:
- Contact you as soon as reasonably possible;
- Take reasonable steps to minimise the effect;
- Provide an updated estimate where possible; and
- Allow cancellation and provide an appropriate refund where the delay is substantial or where required by law.
28. Complaints
We aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
You can make a complaint by contacting:
Email: info@trendy-now.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7376 022109
Please provide your name, order number and a clear description of the issue.
We will acknowledge and investigate your complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within a reasonable period.
Making a complaint does not affect your statutory rights.
29. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to:
- Applicable law or regulation;
- Our products or services;
- Our business processes;
- Payment or delivery arrangements; or
- The operation or security of the website.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Changes will apply to future use of the website and orders placed after the updated Terms take effect.
An order already accepted will remain governed by the Terms in force when the order was placed unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.
30. Transfer of our rights
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example as part of a restructuring or sale of the business.
We will ensure that any transfer does not reduce your rights under an existing contract. We will notify you if the transfer materially affects you.
You may transfer your rights under these Terms where permitted by law or with our written agreement.
31. Severability
Each section of these Terms operates separately.
If a court or relevant authority decides that any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
The affected provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.
32. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
Any waiver must be expressly confirmed by us in writing.
33. Third-party rights
Except where these Terms expressly state otherwise, no person other than you and TRENDY-NOW LTD has the right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
34. Governing law and courts
These Terms and any contract between you and TRENDY-NOW LTD are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in Scotland or England and Wales.
If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or England and Wales.
You will also retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
